The Juvenile Uplifting Mentoring Program (JUMP) proposes the establishment of a startup program in Lycoming County to provide essential mentoring and support services to at-risk youth and their families. This program aims to address the unique needs of the community and empower youth to make positive choices through online training for mentors and comprehensive support for juveniles and their families.

We will offer a series of support groups and activities to help women who have substance use disorders stay clean throughout pregnancy and breastfeeding stages by educating, encouraging, and providing classes to teach skills and prepare them for motherhood in spite of addiction. Community referral services are available for Medically Assisted Treatment Services through Pennsylvania’s Clean Slate Program.
We will be working directly with a registered nurse Rebecca Leese, RN at Unity Lactation &Collaborative to offer these women a safe place to g as ng out and get support without judgement or bias. This project will focus on providing at-risk youth with access to virtual tutoring, online mentorship, and essential digital learning resources. With a budget of $30,000, we plan to bridge the digital divide and ensure equitable access to quality educational and mentorship services.
